The LED downlight ESSENCE 195-205 from Radium impresses with its energy-efficient performance and versatile usability. With a power consumption of only 22 watts, it produces an impressive luminous flux of 2250 lumens with a luminous efficacy of 102 lumens per watt. Thanks to the warm white color temperature of 3000 Kelvin, it provides a pleasant, cozy light that is ideal for general lighting. The luminaire is switchable and operates directly with 230 volts alternating current, making the connection straightforward.

High-Quality Construction and Protection Class

The ESSENCE downlight features a robust housing made of white plastic and is equipped with protection class 2. It offers an IP54 protection rating on the room side and IP40 on the ceiling inside, making it especially resistant to dust and splashing water. The installation opening has a diameter of 20.5 centimeters, while the overall dimensions are 22.3 centimeters in diameter and 3 centimeters in height. Weighing only 180 grams, the luminaire is also very lightweight.

Excellent Light Quality and Color Rendering

The LED downlight delivers uniform, area-wide light emission with a beam angle of 110 degrees. The color rendering index is over 80 Ra, which means colors are displayed naturally and vividly. Thanks to a MacAdam ellipse of less than 6 SDCM, the color consistency is very good, especially when using multiple luminaires for a uniform lighting effect. The average lifespan is around 30,000 hours, ensuring long operating times without frequent lamp replacements.

Easy Installation and Flexible Applications

The downlight is specially designed for installation in hollow ceilings and fits ceiling cutouts with a diameter between 195 and 205 millimeters. The scope of delivery includes spring clips and a suitable driver, enabling uncomplicated and secure mounting. The external two-pole screw terminal ensures a reliable mains connection. With over 50,000 switching cycles, the luminaire is also well suited for frequent switching on and off.

Reliable Technology and High Capacity in the Power Network

The ESSENCE downlight is designed for mains frequencies of 50 to 60 hertz and operates reliably in a temperature range from -20 to +40 degrees Celsius. It can be connected to conventional circuit breakers, with up to 45 luminaires operable on a B10 circuit breaker and up to 71 luminaires on a B16 circuit breaker. The luminaire is available in additional sizes and power levels to meet different requirements.
